Personally, I feel that Brexit would never have happened without such a mindset being allowed to freely express itself and as such, we owe a real debt to the person concerned.

I am thick skinned but to call over 17m people racists just because they disagree with your views is ridiculous and also slanderous if you want to take it to the nth degree. I had my reasons for voting to leave and not one of them even remotely had anything to do with race/immigration. So - he/she is out of order in my opinion.
