I Hope Big Sam persuades him. And that we demand "play all 90 minutes when WBA comes to Selhurst Park."

According to Roy he knows nothing about the prospect of Benteke leaving so either Parish / Freedman are getting rid of players without Roy's knowledge which I sincerely hope isn't true or else it's just a load of agent / media driven testicles

don't fall for Roy's dumb act. I read the same crap in the notes from the presser. Really? Roy hasn't read the rumours that have been all over the national press plus Sam openly declaring his interest? It's funny how they use the old "it's impossible to avoid what's being written in the papers" act when it suits them, then bury their heads in the sand the next week.

"Christian's in our team at the moment, I didn't know Sam had been talking about it, but he hasn't been speaking to me about it"

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

I wouldn't class that as lying. It's more a deluded myopic view of events.

Because he's not an "in form" player. He's just in marginally better form than the s*** form he's been in for the last 3 years.

Whoever started this thread is absolutely spot-on.

This season Benteke is certainly "back to form"!

Fifteen appearances and three poxy goals.

Very disturbing story in the mail that we are set to offer him a new contract. I really cannot believe such insanity.

I can see it happening that’s why Roy Is playing him in some insane hope that he actually scores, regardless of the fact for 3.5 seasons he’s been garbage.

The club is run by clowns

He added something to his usual sloth, stupidity and lack of pride last night; he was pulling out of challenges as if he was worried about being hurt. He also made a few little false runs as if he wanted to look like he was part of the team, but didn't want to actually receive the ball. I wondered if a move to another club was in the air? But I think that's just clutching at straws. Who would want him?
