If we should go for one of the young and upcoming ones, Steven Gerrard for me! Frank L. not up to it - not yet, anyway.

Gerrard is a future Liverpool manager Klopp has been there 5 years so is likely to move in the next couple of seasons. If any club takes Gerrard on now they run the risk of losing him after a short period.

For that reason I would discount him.

Scottish football is not of a high level . A manager from div 2 could take over Celtic and win the league . So a no from for S G .
Maybe if Fat Frank came in now and spent the rest of the season under Roy's guidance , it would help both Palace and Lampard .

I was listening to talk sport this morning, and they were advocating Lampard going to Celitc.

When they posed the question about going to another PL side, firstly they said about Newcastle, but it was thought that club is so toxic it would not be a good idea. Then they mentioned Palace, on the premise of Roy retiring but it seemed that they didn't see Roy retiring at the moment.

Probably, but SG is at Rangers and has managed to get them to overtake Celtic this year both domestically and in Europe.

Are there any loopholes in current employment law that could be pursued to prevent Roy from extending his contract beyond the summer?

More Royball crabbing side to side it is then. I have a worry Garth will be pitching up at Palace after failing miserably at the Euros in the summer. I do hope not.

For a horrible moment I thought you meant Crooks.

It seems the whole world is screaming for wonky-mouthed Lampard to be Palace's next boss.

Former owner Simon Jordan was recommending him this morning on his regular radio show and talksport big mouth Adrian Durham was doing the same yesterday.

Do we really want these Chelsea yobbos like Jodie Morris and Frank at our club?

Not for me.

Frank Sidebottom, Frank De Wulf, Frank Chickens, Frank Lampard, and Frankie Dettori, who will be Palace's next manager?

Pointless discussions about Lampard coming to Palace, there is NOT a vacancy and not likely to be one before the end of the season and maybe not even then.

You've failed to mention the one possible Frank who could potentially do a good job for us.

Thomas Frank.

Think he could come in for next season. Could shadow Roy til end of season see if he fancies it

Does well with the kids at Chelski and Derby and that would work with us. Obviously he had nothing to do with summer sigh which made his job significantly more difficult

Would really annoy Chelsea fans which would be good
