One more point

Do you really know what's happening behind the scenes? Have you regularly seen the U23s play? If you have you will know that they still have a big gap if they want to step up to the first team.

You sound like one of those blinkered "Roy out at all costs brigade" who are unwilling to recognize that he is a manager who will try and make the most of what he's got and isn't going to throw his toys out of the pram and leave because the board won't give him the money to improve the squad.

Yes he's stubborn, too set in his ways at times, over negative in his tactics but until someone is lined up who can do a better job WITH the limited resources we have, I don't see any changes.

I've seen him a couple of times and I think he's good enough. But, as you, others and myself have already pointed out - it's not up to me. Just an opinion.
I also think Woods is good enough.
The reason I would use them is also backed up by the fact that they're not exactly up against wonderful competition. If we had brilliant players in their positions then I would agree. However, I believe that a young Woods and Banks are better options than Dann and Townsend, frankly. Unfortunately, largely due to their age and injury histories. There are other squad players not exactly great that these guys could cover too. This 'they're not good enough' seems to also be suggesting that our squad are better. In many places, I'm just not seeing that.
