It seems their not all linked.
Perhaps after 5 were announced yesterday a number of others though the met would be stretched and they would try and get was with murder.

It needs a drastic intervention.

Khan's 1/10 to win the next mayoral election. How

And that’s the best price. He’s 1/18 with both Betfair and Paddy Power.

How indeed! I thought the not linked thing actually ment the Croydon, Chiselhurst and Wandsworth stabbings on Friday wern"t linked, not the Croydon ones, but could be wrong.

The more at risk ethnic groups ignoring the situation. You’re surprised the low life’s in Croydon couldn’t care less because?

A lot of assumptions here (probably correct) but anyway.

Really horrible situation. I was going to go for a walk late a night Friday because i hadn't hit my steps for the day, good thing I didn't because I live pretty close to one of the stabbings on Friday and again Saturday (if anyone knows where exactly near Selhurst it happened? I drove that way to go to Doneagles last night and you'd be none the wiser).

Khan needs to get a handle on this, its just completely out of control and he really shouldn't be a shoe-in to be re-elected.

Agree entirely. These are young Londoners killing each other and it’s an awful situation.

What do you think about stop and search (for the time it takes to clear all this sh1t up)? Without it unfortunately this won’t be solved.

I'm all for stop and search, metal detectors at train stations etc, if it brings down knife and gun related crime. I have no issue with being stopped myself, with the only negative being a small inconvenience to my day, I have nothing to hide.

knives scare the s***e out of me.
Ive seen a few incidents working around south london.
We was painting an exterior in streatham, a guy goes running past me, like he'd win the 100M.
immediatly after him was another fella with a large carving knife, started chasing him around parked cars in a grim game of cat n mouse, then they were off again.
we got in our van & locked the door.
Another time comimg back late from a club i was going to stop at KFC (there is/ was ?) facing west croy station.
didnt stop off, poor sod was laying up against the glass smothered in blood, all up the window, over the pavement.
Horrible stuff.

Kids, tired of being bothered by your pesky parents?
Then leave home, get a job & pay your own bills, while you still know everything.

the urban yoof have little fear of the cops or prison sentences.

But they do have a lot of fear of other urban yoof.

hence they carry a blade. Allegedly for self protection.

I have always found good manners, a lack of eye contact and a healthy dose of cowardice to be an excellent protection. To keep life and soul together.

a lot of these kids killing kids is either about drugs, money, girls or 'respect'.

Well said, this is exactly the right attitude to have. If losing 5 minutes out of your day saves a life to knife crime, we would all do it in an instant. I think that done correctly, a search can also become a chat with your local officers. There needs to be a bit more respect about those trying to protect us from the public in general but the Police have to get their attitude bang on as well.

I think harsher punishments for carrying a concealed weapon need to come in too. If it was 2 to 3 years imprisonment without parole I’m pretty sure knife crime would plummet.
