Yes they were.....

Henderson isn't in the new list of 25 but he WAS in the previous list. So who in the current list wasn't in the previous list? (Mateta has taken Meyer's spot). Hennessey got seriously injured before the first list was sent in and Butland came in to take his place. Hennessey was, therefore, left out.

I stand corrected and apologise. When you look at the article stating our 25 man squad, I didn't notice the column saying if they were in the squad or not...

Based on your logic then ME, maybe we'll be offering Wickham another extension too.

At some point you have to cut your losses and move on.

I'd much prefer a young, hungry lower league striker. Surely, that's the Palace way until Pardew got into SP's head and told him we could win the league

..by outscoring our opponents without the services of the great Glen Murray who he weirdly didn't want and promptly allowed to leave to join Reading, he went on to score another fifty eight goals for Bournewmouth and Brighton over one hundred and seven appearances, if he'd kept him then I'm quite sure we'd been able to continue outscoring teams enough to not be sacked for being an idiot.

I'm coming around to the idea that Roy will sign for another year. I have no evidence just a feeling.

I thought after one of our dismal losses that the locker room was abandoning Roy but after the last 2 games I think they are still with him and playing for him so I don't see that as an issue.

I know it feels like we are on the verge of big potential changes due mainly to the avalanche of contracts ending and increasing age of the players but I think this could actually point to Roy wanting to stay. He might not want to leave the team in the lurch so to speak unless management had some definite successor in mind. I don't recall seeing anything that would make anyone think they do. Roy may see it as steering the team over a rough patch so as to leave a more stable arrangement to whomever does succeed him.

Just a thought.

I'm pretty sure Roy won't want to stay. Surely this extended yet compressed season has been exhausting and frustrating, particularly with his mostly ancient squad. He'll remain only if: a) there's no good successor in sight, and b) he's assured that Wilf will remain through 2022.

There's going to be big changes this summer, and there's only one man for the job, never particularly liked him, but willing to give him a chance, Lampard.

Look at his record, apart from this season, when Abramovich decided to pick £200 million worth of players hand picked by himself, that won't happen here.

Terry Venables mark 1, I believe with a bit of backing and some long overdue youth in the side, he could take us forward, and make us an exciting team to watch.

Far too inexperienced for the PL

If Roy does leave the managers I would like to see in his place are

John Terry . Done a good job as assistance at Aston
Villa and should be given a chance in
management
Fat Frank . Sacked from Chelsea . I think he was
given a big job to soon . He will be
hungry and needs to show he can be a
manager and could do that with us
Nathan Jones . Strange choice . Sacked by Stoke now at
Luton who are doing well and on a tight
budget . Maybe needs another chance in
the Premiership
Thomas Frank Would love to see this but I can't see
him leaving Brentford to join us

I would not like to see Howe , Wilder or Dyche join us .
On saying that I will support our next manager no matter who it is
