Heavy snow forecast from 5pm. I would be amazed if the game went ahead now. With our injuries, it would probably be a blessing

I wonder if our stats are skewed a bit by someone like Wickham, who is injured a lot but wouldn't play even if fit?

Quite a few injuries at the moment, sadly. Apart from Wilf, James Tomkins had recent surgery on an eye socket fracture and will be out for a while, I guess. Jeff Schlupp, Wayne Hennessey and Mamadou Sakho are all out for the immediate future, James McArthur, James McCarthy and Joel Ward are recovering from injuries and doubtful, and Connor Wickham and Nathan Ferguson haven't played all season. As much as I'd love to see a Palace match tonight I'm hoping this fixture will be called off and we can play Leeds later in the season when we have a stronger squad to call on.

Can I just ask, what injury situation? It's only really Zaha who's out, if we're going to miss him that bad we may as well not even bother travelling and just give them the points. The roads will be clear, no issue at all, especially as crowds aren't allowed. Do you actually follow our club,if so you should be aware off our injury list. Its not only about Wilf.

Ward, Tomkins, McArthur, McArthy, no confirmation they are fit, plus long termers, Schlupp, Hennessey, Sakho, Ferguson and now Zaha, so it’s not an ideal situation. Tomkins, Zaha and McArthur are the 3 misses. I'd think we can get by without the rest and it's not really as bad as some say. We'll probably never see Hennessey again, he's back in training but won't get ahead of Butland on the bench.

I'd add Schlupp into that list. 4 starters/bench including the best 2 for me in Zaha and Tomkins.

Unless the snow is really heavy it should go ahead.

Just looked at Leeds fan forum, no chat of weather being an issue.
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |
