When was the last time you really enjoyed a Live Match, home or away as a Palace fan in the stadiums. Never been a fan of live TV as like many fans, I would rather be there as its a truly great experience. So please keep this to being in a stadium...

This may not be the type of response you were looking for, but due to a combination of illness and distance I don't get to many live games these days. In view of this, any game I see live, especially at the beloved Selhurst, is enjoyable for me. The last game I saw there was a couple of years ago when we lost 2-0 to Man City. Shame about the result, but I really enjoyed being there.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

Got to be honest, I quite enjoyed the last game I went too, Watford at home. Home wins are quite rare these days, and at the time goals up the Whitehorse were practically non-existent, so Jordan Ayew burying a decent little strike right in front of us and walking away with the 3 points against that ‘orrible lot was very satisfying Other than that it was probably 1979

THAT Palace v Liverpool match: enjoyed the game, enjoyed coming back from 0-3 down, and really enjoyed seeing Suarez cry like a baby...... and enjoyed it all in the very enjoyable company of Slovenia Dave!

Interesting question. If you mean when did I last enjoy going to Selhurst, I always enjoy it. I don't live in Croydon any more, so I either get the train to Selhurst or I drive and park somewhere near the cemetery, and wander over. I think moving away has added a sentimental aspect that didn't used to exist in all the years I grew up and lived in Croydon. These days I love just walking to the ground, down the same streets I've walked down thousands of times, first with my Dad, then my mates, now with my son. I'd sign up for a season of nil-nil draws just to have that walk to the ground. If you mean when did I really enjoy the way Palace played, that's a very different question! All I would say is that in my 35 years of going, you can usually count the really good performances per season on one hand!
