We are probably without wilf the worst team in the prem and maybe relegation
Will finally see SP politely ask Roy to put on his slippers. We are going to have to rebuild dad's army and maybe a year or two to blood the young eagles might be a bit more exciting to watch.

The last 2 performances without Zaha have been deeply alarming and I have not discounted the possibility of us returning to the Championship given that Zaha and some of our other important players will not be returning any time soon.
Real cause for concern.

Got to say none of our signings over the last few years have excited me.

Even Eze who has at least age on his side, dosent seem to have a designated role in our team that suits him or us

Cahill and Batshuyai were just stop gap signings not the future.

Mateta? Haven't seen enough to know if he has anything about him

With so many of the high wage earners being out of contract and unfortunately I think this season a real chance Wilf will go and that coupled with the end of Roy. It wouldn’t be the worst time to do it.

We should free up plenty of wages, get rid of dead wood and maybe invest Wilf cash into some quality young champ players and a forward thinking manager.

But either way if we do survive this season, I really think the writing is on the wall for 21/22.

Our fate is sealed ... no one seems capable or even interested in averting what now appears inevitable.

Wouldn’t bother me, would freshen it up that’s for sure. It would force the issue of new manager and mass clear out of high earners. Yes it could get even worse, but if the alternative is year after year of this turgid stuff and now add to that getting hammered a lot, bring it on. I go to watch Palace, not who we’re playing against, so I’ll cope without the premier league

Good post, I came to this conclusion too. I look at Norwich and they aren't doing too bad. I have a Norwich mate and although he recognised that they weren't quite good enough for the Premiership, they are well set up and have a loyal fanbase, and some decent players. We'll pass them going in opposite directions soon enough.

Obviously don’t want us to get relegated (pretty sure we won’t this year anyway) however I love the championship.

Every game is winnable, no need for a season ticket, can easily get additional tickets for mates etc, no tourists, more games, good chance of doing well. What’s not to like
