I'm not sure that he does. That may well be the title on his office door but it's fairly obvious that Steve Parish is the CEO. My guess is that Phil Alexander is some sort of administrator

I've sent a couple of quite reasonable and uncontroversial emails to the club before. The last one I just asked could they consider a pre season friendly in Ireland. Have never had a reply. So email away, they don't read them. I may even have used correct spelling and grammar. All goes into a Recycle bin exactly the same way lol.

He sent his cv to numerous clubs and also US National team. Most replied ( including the US), unfortunately most without success however Palace was one of the few that didn’t. We took the cv personally to the training ground addressed to Dougie.

When Wimbledon were based at Selhurst Park I wrote both to Wimbledon and Palace offering them my services for nothing to enable me to gather data for my thesis. Palace never replied At 9am the morning after I wrote, I had a strange call - 'hello, it's Sam here'. 'Sam who?' says I. 'Sam Hammam of course' came the reply. 'You just wrote to me'. He didn't need my services but man, what a nice guy and what brilliant supporter outreach. No wonder their fans were so passionate.

Perhaps they were unfamiliar with what a football scout actually is Spiderman? Wouldn't shock me. Best of luck to your boy however, here's hoping he just gets that lucky turn one day to really kick start his career!
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |
