I agree. The whole team performance was completely unacceptable, No energy, no commitment, no passion.

Well Dazza, it’s not just you writing letters to the Board. Perhaps they were inspired by you.

For those who haven’t seen it, the Fanatics have written an open letter outlining the problems as they see them and demanding more effort from players and management.

Exactly, so pleased there are many more that feel the way I do & for those that criticise hopefully this letter ticks the boxes.

See for most of us it’s not about winning every game or spending millions it’s about the attitude & the way we play.

Under Roy we are going out defeated before we even start & that is not acceptable, even if some believe our squad is too old or not good enough you still go out & try.

Remember the team Pulis inherited we were down but Pulis changed the whole structure & mentality.

We need to do this now.

Is this the same Roy Hodgson who came to the club when we were on a terrible run and looking certain for relegation.Just asking

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Saved us from almost 'certain relegation' four games into a season?
Surely some mistake?
By my calculation there were 34 games left with a squad containing Zaha, Cabaye, RLC Tomkins and Sakho,Mcarthur,Townsend and PVA when they were all good.
As well as solid pros like Ward and Dann.
I'm not suggesting Hodgson didn't do a decent job but he inherited a far superior squad to Pulis and had more time to turn it around.

What Hodgson didn’t have was a striker for a long period due to more squad mismanagement and squad Kerplunk by Parish.

Remember he instructed Zaha and Townsend to get into the box off the wings?

With no striker, no points and no goals we were in a mess.

As opposed to Pulis who had the lethal Jerome up front and no Zaha either!!

And in many ways we played our best football under Hodgson when he used Townsend and Zaha as a mobile front pair leaving opposing centre halves nobody to mark.
Seems a long time ago since he was prepared to try that sort of innovation.

For me Zaha and Bolaise on each wing with Murray in the middle was very effective and great to watch. And not rocket science tactically either.

Agreed. My favourite attacking line up at Palace in many years.
And I feel it would have flourished in the Premier League had it been given the chance.

He certainly gave everything he had chasing defenders down. No wonder he didn’t last 90 minutes. He couldn’t doing that much chasing down on his own with 23% possession.

Exactly, not exactly rocket science! Just put players in their natural positions and allow them to play.

No no disrespect but Roy does not know how to get the best out of strikers anyway look what he did with Kane for England made him take the corners so he was not in the middle where he should be.

Funny how no other manager has Kane taking corners.

He has had strikers for the last 2 seasons still refuses to provide them with any sort of service yet the majority of fans still blame the strikers.

It won’t be long till some fans turn on Mateta.
