I bet a lot of us would take a draw with Fulham now, it is unlikely but feasible they could only be four points behind us in two games time.

I only saw the last 20 mins of today’s game. Not a bad watch and the match could have gone either way. Fulham created more chances in those 20 mins than we have in our last 2 games. If they did go down we could do a lot worse than raiding their squad to regenerate ours

Not to get too philosophical, but I believe its the Spanish who describe football as being like a small blanket. You can keep either your nose warm or your feet, but not both. By which they mean that commitment to attack inevitably leaves your defence open, whilst the cost of a solid defence is inevitably a blunt attack. Fulham seem to pull their blanket in the opposite direction we generally have in recent years. Edited by TheBigToePunt (17 Feb 2021 10.35pm)

A draw all right but would have liked a home win. Now it is all about avoiding relegation and that means three teams below us.

After the shock waves following the last two unacceptable performances I sense a real realisation amongst many supporters that relegation is a real possibility. The ranks might swell after the Brighton game.

Agreed,if we lose to Brighton, any fragile confidence will be shattered and surely, loser Hodgson will have to go??

I don't wish to engage in a debate about the future of Mr Hodgson, however a defeat against Brighton, which is highly likely, following a likely home win for Fulham over Sheff Utd will leave them 7 pts behind us and they play us in the next game,a game they are well capable of winning.

What is the point you are making then? or purpose of your post? And why quote Jacey’s specific comment re ‘Hodgson having to go’?
