Well done, don't get dragged into that tit-for-tat, however it is safe to infer from comments made here to for that defeat to Brighton will render the manager's job less secure, hence efforts to establish whether or not these inferences are valid if related to undue wordiness or vagueness on the specific poster's behalf are reasonable as attempts to establish precise meaning so that appropriate responses can be made thenceforth in full purview of all parties.

I got a frisson of excitement at perusing such magniloquence.

So what’s it to be Willo? Because so far you seem to be peddling both potential scenarios and yet at the same time declaring you ‘don’t wish to engage in the debate about the future of our manager’?

With respect, Mr Hodgson who is an experienced respected manager is in situ and I certainly had no desire to respond to "Loser Hodgson will have to go". In the final analysis, Mr Hodgson has met his objective of keeping us in the PL, and on a relative 'Shoestring', and I feel no need to place him in the pillory. Whilst I have been lacerating about some performances, I haven't called for the removal of Mr Hodgson's services or suggested any alternatives. It would have been churlish of me to do so given his achievements at our club. Nothing more to add on this subject as the 'Thread' is Burnley v Fulham and any comment about the future of Mr Hodgson is tangential to the discussion.

thank you, and I think you meant reverence but I'll take reference, all this excitement can lead to spelling mistakes, and we should now turn our attention to Fulham v Sheff Utd, not so much the last chance saloon for the blades, they're well and truly in the departure lounge

That’s just laughable Willow and downright lame! It was you who took it off course with your ‘I don’t wish to engage in a debate about the future of Mr Hodgson, however...‘ post. Don’t duck the issue now that you’re being pulled up for your previous comments and spare us the nonsensical fancy waffle that you always revert to whenever you have nothing constructive to say.

I will not be drawn into any tit-for-that as much as some would wish me to do so, hence no responses to posts which de-rail this thread. Returning to Burnley v Fulham, Burnley did have a few missing for the game ie Mee,Wood,Vydra and they lost Gudmundsson to injury during the encounter.Fulham started with the same team as started at Everton.
