Just love this stat from the Beeb live report: "Crystal Palace had just four shots against Brighton this season, the joint-lowest tally across two games by any side against an opponent in a single Premier League season on record (since 2003-04). They picked up four points with three goals from those four shots."

The Fanatics wanted them to show some fight. Well defensively they were chucking their bodies in left right and centre to block Brighton out. It was an ugly performance interspersed by one excellent pass to Ayew, a super cross and delightful finish from Mateta and another super cross by Andros and a finish from Benteke that no one in their right mind expected.

I still can't quite believe what happened this evening. The Palace roller coaster eh! Not even worth beginning to analyse that. An unbelievable 3pts with a notable mention to the defence who defended for 90 mins, Townsend and Ayew for running all night (albeit only twice with the ball)...oh yeah and our 2 deadly strikers. I don't think I've ever laughed so much after a match. COYP
