Haha! Great manipulation of facts.

Kane and Bale on form makes you wish Team GB were going for the Euro's.

Having said that, we've made a few tactical mistakes again.

Lessons are:

- let's play direct football.
- let's put as many crosses as possible into benteke.
- Play 4-4-1-1 or 4-3-2-1 to give the midfield pairing a hand.
- Zaha only works up front with Ayew, let's play Zaha on the right and Townsend on the left with Ayew playing though the middle.
- With Eze, Schlupp, Mateta on the bench we have some real punch to come one. Our squad isn't that bad at all.

Anyone want to give me odds on Roy coming out and making a comment about how he wishes we had Bale or Kane again.

Another good job interview by Coleman.

Lol I was thinking the same thing. Coleman’s stock was so high when he left Wales, not sure where he went after but damaged him a bit? I used to love the idea, but when he was cheering on Cardiff in the league cup semi he pissed me off a bit , that was a while ago now..... he spoke a lot of sense tonight??? Maybe a contender?

It was just one of those games and they just had too much in attack for us. Major positives that Zaha and Schlupp are back. I’d get Jairo out of that team quick smart and get Schlupp in the middle, even if he is out of position at least he can run. Jairo is like a very bad version of Neil Lennon.

That’s a complete myth, they have different structure to other clubs which is heavily incentivised. Kane is on 200k a week basic.

and that’s not incentive enough!

I think he's class above the rest of ours technically...but we'd need 70% possession to see the best of him. Square peg unfortunately. Also think Schlupp's a better option there.

It certainly sounded as if CC was auditioning for Roy's job.

Trouble is his record in club management is not great.

Perhaps their roles will be reversed next season.

If the top clubs click we will lose 99 times out of 100. Tonight Spurs were on top form and we didn't have much hope. Luka at fault for first, but otherwise no real complaints.

Positives are minutes on the pitch for Wilf and Schlupp and Bentenke looking about as good as he has since his first season.

One thing you noticed as soon as Wilf came on there was more purpose going forward. He was giving instructions and although we didn't create many chances we did look less passive.

Big game at WBA next week.

Based on ability if benteke is on , a reported, £120k a week Kane should be on 5 times that. At least.
Nice goal by benteke today though. Decent

Do you know what I have had big change of heart about him even with all his flaws for all il admit we are a better team with him in it. At least he can move unlike most of our team.

I’d have taken one point from the two games Manure and Spurs.

If Manure had turned up like they did today we’d have probably had no points. That’s football. We move on, good players coming back in

We conceded poor goals.
Three of the goals from crosses down our right.
