I think he should retire, he has done a great job with little support from Steve Parrish and the board. I still can’t believe we have spent hardly anything on players over the last 3 years and sold one of the best emerging right backs the Premiership has ever seen.

Stand aside Roy your job is done you have nothing more to prove.

Chaos sums up Palace, Roy out, now.

De Boer's reign was chaos,Roy kept us in the Premier League after seven goalless, pointless matches. Don't let the facts get in the way of your toy throwing rant. I am looking forward to Roy's new contract.

I would prefer him to go at the end of this season with dignity providing we have a decent replacement lined up.

If he stays and we continue our recent performances it will get embarrassing for him and the club. Next season the supporters will be back and any more of the current form and they will be booing Roy and the players and at some point he will get sacked.

Roy had done a great job and can hold his head up high but it is always good manners to know when it is time to leave the party.

I have been a critic of Roy and his brand of football at times this season, as most have on social media.

However, given the host of circumstances beyond his control (injuries, lack of investment, pandemic, etc.), I believe that he has done enough to merit a contract extension.

Some of you quickly forget that his brand of football in his first few seasons was quite exciting, relative to what we've come to expect from Palace, and that replacing him will only serve to weaken us, given that a new manager will need considerable time to mould his new team and assemble a new squad.

Roy knows this league and perhaps given greater reign in the transfer market may be able to break into the Top 10.

Thankfully Parish doesn't yield as willingly to fan pressure as most football executives, but those pushing the anti-Roy agenda should be wary of other clubs who convinced themselves that they deserve to see a better brand of football and by virtue pushing into the European places, and now play against the likes of Charlton and Sunderland.

Who ever manages Palace , in the near future, will have a real problem getting better outcomes than Roy, unless the financial structure of the club alters for the better, by quiet a bit
Roy’s age is now against him, no one even he, can think otherwise,
There comes a time in every sporting career, and Roy, has surpassed most when it’s time to call it a day, .He still gets the results so he may want to continue.
For the club this is a cross road moment ,every bit as much s it is for Roy..
Regardless of should Roy, stay. Can the club attain what many fans , not all , wish for? A team playing attractive football in the upper half of the league, making cup runs, at home and Europe, or even a team that plays in an attractive way , yet is caught in the middle part of the league, which would imply losing as often as we do now, and people asking why we don’t change.?

So presumably you never use any products containing
cobalt, as to do so would be hypocritical which I am sure you are not.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Roy has done a great job for us, and if he retires or is replaced after this season, he will go down as one of our best managers.

That being said, he is past his "sell by" date, and if he were to return next season, I think we would be in the relegation mix. I wish he would just step down on a high, rather then linger on until his luck runs out and we get relegated.

Both things are true: he has been a great manager for us, and it's time for us to move on from him.

2018 Jan. (Sako) Palace 1 - 0 Burnley
2019 May (Batshuayi, Batshuayi, OG, Van Aanholt, Townsend) Palace 5 - 3 Bournemouth
2020 Feb. (Van Aanholt) Palace 1 - 0 Newcastle

99% of palace fans are in agreement that the idea scenario is Roy staying on until the end of season...giving us a finish of somewhere between 10 - 15th. Then calling it quits at the end of the season. Don't know why we need some many threads about it lol.

No, the untenable thinking of us being 03-04 Arsenal is the problem. We need to think within our resources. Yes, all of us want to be in Europe, but that road is looooooooong.

We cannot be That until we build up to it. And Roy is doing exactly what we need him to do. Namely, not be close to relegation.

This lays the foundation to build up, and Jordan's new stadium plan is the next step.

Jordan?

All we need is Roy to retire a top manager come and a top marquee signing.

Say £50m to secure. Josh Harris could deliver that with his eyes wide shut.

Apploolo ar worth billions he's worth $5Biilion.

Is cobalt used to make batteries for our new green cars?
