The drill i have has kango, percussion hammer and twist (wth a chuck adapter). As good as hilti for a fraction of the cost. Kango will cut out bricks and concrete with ease.

I bought a Uniti Atom a couple of years ago, with the intention of using it in conjunction with my Primare main amp.

I tried it out on its own directly into my speakers and WOW, the Primare is now redundant. The Atom does for sound what a mega-pixel camera does for images.

Expensive, but sensational.

My most recent toy that I love to bits is a Panasonic bread maker. There are cheaper models than Panasonic but not all of them have timers or yeast dispensers which together make life so much easier.

For those that have never tried bread from a bread maker it tastes like the bread that you get in quality restaurants rather than the supermarket bread that is stuffed full of chemicals.

The downside is that you end up eating much more bread as it tastes so good

I certainly remember the Garrard deck and Wharfedale speakers, but any recollection of Rogers amps escapes me.

I'm not sure that they would sound too good up against modern equipment but mine was an upgrade from an old radiogram so the leap in sound quality was tremendous.

I gradually upgraded over the years but my next huge leap in sound quality was in 1991 when I added a REL Q Bass to my (now) AV system
