With the football from Palace being a little dreary lately I’ve considered splitting my TV watching time with another team. Before I get completely slaughtered I could never not support Palace nor support another English team . However I would like to see some decent football once in a while. Big teams are out, but has anyone tried out another team in another country and found some decent football.

What about an Eagles alliance- so we support Benfica, Eintracht Frankfurt in return for their support?

Brighton & Hove Albion are playing neat, attractive foot ball atm.

It’s been dross for a long time tbh, but the problem is it’s not just palace, a lot of modern football is tippy tappy, pass pass pass, no intensity, players are not allowed to get stuck in anymore for fear of two lame bookings and getting sent off

So stick with Palace, it might be s***, but at least it’s palace s***

Made in Bromley

Sutton United. Top of the league. Just right. Don't think you'll find them on TV much though.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

My first ever football match was Bromley v Sutton Utd.
4-2 to Sutton in November 1963.

Winners of the Isthmian League that season were a certain Wimbledon FC!

I still keep an eye on Bromley results.

Kidderminster Harriers and Galway Utd. I lived in Kidderminster for years and saw our cup run and FA Trophy win. When I'm allowed back, I'll be going to the odd Galway Utd match, usually a Friday night with my son.

Does that not relate to a person?
