Johnston lied about Tfl finances from his new taxpayer funded 2.6 million soap-box. he left 9 billions of debts. in fact Khan has been clearing it up 70% less now. We don't want traffic, Croydon should introduce green spaces. No cars equals no congestion, no pollution, safe streets where children can play. Civilised living.

Before the last Mayoral elections TFL finances were widely reported by the media and it was an election issue between the candidates. Khan pledged not to increase fares in the full knowledge that the government was withdrawing around 700m. The other candidates and transport experts pointed out that fares would have to rise and it did not make sense. Khan ignored all of this and even before COVID TFL finances were in such a mess that the rating agencies downgraded their debt. Whether the governments decision to reduce support was correct is a moot point, Khan recklessly ignored that and has run the finances into the ground and then blamed the government. I would not trust him to do the household budget. Now he's banging on about decriminalising cannabis an area of policy he has no power over. The man is an attention seeking idiot the costs of his media team has spiralled whilst the taxpayers of London have been presented with a 10% rise in the GLA budget.

Whatever people may think, Khan's green credentials are impeccable, London's air pollution lowered by a half by him. Westminster is a dead duck as far as climate is concerned, as it is over practically anything else. And I think we are getting it, after covid. Excess capitalism, greed, selfishness, the few not the many, why do we put up with it when it could be so much better.

To be fair a year of lockdown might have helped.

He has halved it from the reading taken on a day when every air monitor involved knew it would be the worst day for decades. Absolutely mocked up figure to compare every other day to.
