What's Dick Turpin got to do with it? He was just a highwayman.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

True story. My ex accountants name was Richard Head.

Seriously, what parent would do that to their child??

He's been living off that story at cocktail parties for the last 40 years.

Anyone noticed how quickly broccoli goes off? You buy it on a wednesday and its gone yellow by sunday for your roast, lucky i"m very well organised and bought a back up on friday, but still makes you wonder whats going on . Broccoli is also not a natural plant, its made up by crossing this with that, who knew?

Has also been a problem in our home. Now cured by using frozen broccoli. Also handy when buying beer from a supermarket chill cabinet.

Jeremy Clarkson, in his column yesterday, mentioned a chap called Wayne Bruce, known to his colleagues as ManBat.
