Howe looks dead cert for Celtic unless Spurs do turn to him? Lampard has impressed SP & a 3yr deal has been offered I would expect an announcement in a few weeks could be as soon as we are mathematically safe or they may wait till end of the season. I'll be very disappointed if it is Lampard. He has had two jobs and failed at both of them. I'd bring in Raffa. Big Sam might be humbled enough to come back, but I doubt it. I only want successful managers. Players winning stuff or being smarter than average does not make them good managers.

Fair enough Dazza if true .But would be surprised with sp taking such a chance on Frank with so much rebuilding to be done .But in Steve we trust.

If it is true then surely he is the right player to bring the young players through, the 100k a week mistakes are over, he didn't fail at Derby just because he lost the play offs, Cocu/Rooney have failed, Wilf should be sold even at 15m, there is enough younger players, to build a good team and he would attract a lot of the younger players, Gallagher. Tomori. Abraham bought or on loan, in my opinion it is the perfect signing

I thought he was getting significantly less than the sum of parts out of the squad at Chelsea and Tuchel appears to be underlining that. Also, comparisons between Chelsea's use of young players and ours are don't stand up IMO. When we beat Middlesbrough 4-1 back in the Championship days somebody pointed the anonymous Josh McEachran out to me at the game who was on loan to them from Chelsea and apparently earning £33k a week at the time.
