I haven't read the whole thread but saw James Corden's speech and thought it was worth reposting - he hits the nail on the head about the ESL here:

A passionate delivery, even if nobody in the audience knew what the hell he was talking about. Don't know how often his show goes out, but I'd like to see the next one, because here he thinks the ESL will definitely happen.

Teams who achieve in their own leagues still get rewarded by a place in the top european competition. by making the CL a league of fewer teams, rather than smaller groups with more overall teams, you should get consistently get the games the world wants to see. How about FA Cup winners into CL and League Cup winners into Europa, these traditional competitions have been devalued over the years, let’s get them back

British Super League And we're back... Well it didn't take long as I predicted talk of Celtic and Rangers joining the PL. For now I don't think this has legs as the cowardly six will keep their head down. However this is not going to go away they will chance their arm in the future unless there is proper governance of football either by the FA or an independent regulator.
