Don't get carried away there - he sat on the bench last week and at the usual rate of integration (barring an horrendous injury problem with the entire current midfield), he should be scheduled to make his debut in 2022/23

that soon!

Together with Fulham and Spurs are we the only team in PL (and I think England) not letting any Under 21 player gets a look in at the A team.
That alone is reason enough (for me) to make a managerial change for next season. Can not see Roy H. change his approach to younger players..

That'll change by the end of the season, other than that who do you think should be playing instead of a 1st team player?

I have no reason to believe PVA should have a first team spot when Mitchell is fit. They're a 50/50 call anyway, and PVA is (hopefully) leaving.

Reece Hannan sounds worth of a go too - even just because he's willing to put a cross in. On that basis alone I'm not sure why we're still using PVA.

I'm not going to claim we should have 3/4 starting because that's silly. I'm also not going to claim that there are obvious 1st team starters in the U23s.

What I will say is that AWB wasn't an obvious 1st team starter when he made his debut, and that we regularly make subs with 10 mins to go (think McCarthy for Riedewald when we're 2-0 down) that leave me thinking 'what was the point of that?' that I think we could be making better use of by giving some of these a bit of non-pressured game time.

Tyrick Mitchell is 21 now made his first team debut aged 20. Which totally refutes your point.
So no need to change the manager, then.
