The very least we can do is deny entry to certain types of people. As a nation we should reserve the right to allow and disallow entry to whom we please.

Those that were born here should be imprisoned for life or offered the opportunity to emigrate to their mother country. Deals can be done between countries with this sort of arrangement. Those that were not born here should be deported without delay.

None of that is impossible. It just takes determination and a political mandate.

Interesting point.

We cannot deport many awful people back to their home country because the courts say they are terrible places don't respect human rights etc.

However if you applied the same logic to granting visas it would be called discriminatory. Personally I think that we should have a black list of countries where the culture is at odds with our western democratic society.

Anybody coming from those countries would have to prove that they don't share those values and that their visa would have a built in expulsion clause if they were found to have broken the rules.

Not all cultures are of equal value and worthiness something the left doesn't get. Maybe we need to drive home the point.

Perhaps we should allow people in based on the following questionnaire:

1. Do you believe women are worth less than men?
2. Do you believe in arranged marriages?
3. Do you believe girls should be denied an education?
4. Do you believe in honour killings and FGM?
5. Do you believe in executing gays and other members of the alphabet soup?
6. Do you believe young white working class girls are fair game?
7. Do you believe in Sharia law?
8. Do you believe that anyone who offends the Prophet e.g. cartoons should be stoned to death.?

If you answer yes to the above questions then you are granted a visa welcome to Britain the left will be happy to celebrate with you.

I think you are extremely naive. The "mother country" of those born here is here! Those "deals" would never be done. Why would they? Those not born here, if they have acquired citizenship and have no other, have just as many rights.

You might not like it but that's the way it is. Moaning about it isn't going to change anything so now propose something practical.

Let’s face it without Russia being involved we would have been rolled over no matter how many sleeves were rolled up.

Undoubtedly true but nonetheless the attitude of that generation shows us that with determination and effort things can be done.

The difference being that there was a common purpose then which the country was united to achieve. There wasn’t the current obsession with accusations, claims and denials which only seems to be getting worse.

Clearly no-one is going to ask those questions in the way you have written them BUT there are already questions at all stages of the visa and settlement process which demand that applicants make commitments on terrorism and lawful behaviour. No-one is going to answer "yes" to these, because if they did their application would obviously be refused. The point must be to strengthen any case in which deportation is sought because it could then be established they lied on the application.

Here are a few of the questions from an "indefinite leave to remain" application:-

"In either peace or war time have you ever been
involved in, or suspected of involvement in, war
crimes, crimes against humanity, or genocide?"

"Have you ever been involved in, supported or
encouraged terrorist activities in any country?"

"Have you ever been a member of, or given support
to, an organisation which has been concerned in
terrorism?"

"Have you, by any means or medium, expressed
views that justify or glorify terrorist violence or that may encourage others to commit terrorist or other
serious criminal acts?"

"Have you ever been a member of, or given support
to, an organisation which is or has been concerned
with extremism?"

"Have you, by any means or medium, expressed any
extremist views?"

"Have you, as a part of your employment or
otherwise, undertaken paid or unpaid activity on
behalf of a non-UK government which you know to
be dangerous to the interests or national security
of the UK or its allies?"

"Have you ever engaged in any other activities which
might indicate that you may not be considered to
be a person of good character?"

"Is there any other information about your character
or behaviour which you would like to make us
aware of?"

Anyone answering no to those questions and then committing any kind of crime makes themselves potentially very vulnerable.

It doesn't though mean that they can then just be shown the door. If they have already acquired citizenship and renounced any previous one then we cannot do anything except punish them here.

I guess the real point is to try to frighten people.

When Gilbert Harding went to America there was a question on the visa application which read Do you intend to overthrow, by force, the Government of the United States?
His answer “Sole purpose of visit” didn’t go down well.

I'm not naive. I understand how things work, but I also understand that nothing is set in stone.
Rights can be afforded and taken away. How far will the international community go to protect mass rapists? How much 'bribery' would it take to persuade pakistan to take a few thousand criminals?

I 100% agree that these things are not easy but it just takes a will to make it happen.

The Prime Minister of pakistan

[Link]

Former cricketer and world class hypocrite. I doubt very much they are urging their people to adopt western liberal attitudes so why should we accept their people.

I'm following his lead by selling t-shirts and posters of Mohammed saying 'yes, to blasphemy, no to the infidel'.

Met him in pakistan, treated like a god there but boy, what a nasty piece of work. He seemed love the Western values when he was drinking and s***ging the local women whilst in Sussex

There seems to be a casual acceptance of Bullying in that culture. I have witnessed it myself many times.
