Is he injured and if so, why is he playing?

one big weakness with him. opposition players know they can easily wind him up. fantastic legs, great football brain, needs to work on the anger management.

When he got the ball a few seasons ago I sat up and watched with expectation, less so now. Noticed tonight he was stretching his legs regularly so I don't think he is 100%, but his ability to run and scare defenders is not what it was. Many fouls on him again tonight some deliberate and cynical, and he ends with the yellow.

I'm sure he is injured. Because of our poor record when he doesn't play, i fully understand why Roy plays him to take pressure off the rest of the team. Wilf won a penalty tonight. He gets kicked and roughed up all of the time. I'm not going to criticise him. We wouldn't even be close to the Prem but for his performances against the Tesco Bags and Grotford

Leave him out the last three games and play Rak-Sakyi who will show energy and enthusiasm and no little skill either. Wilf and his new agent will have longer then to find pastures new

Wilf has played nearly 400 games for Palace and he's probably averaged 8+ across his performances for us. Not many players have played that many times for us and I'm grateful for his loyalty not to mention his performances. My favourite player ever for Palace was John Jackson and we showed no loyalty to him whatsoever when he was sold to Orient. I would love to see Wilf play his entire career for Palace ( like Le Tiss at So'ton). I don't remotely think we could possibly replace him, if we sold sold him. Remember, this is the club who tried to replace Wrighty with Marco Gabbiadini! enough said!

He lost his pace last year, thankfully he's added more to his game but the old Wilf died last year in my opinion.

I said the same last night myself. I think he looks injured also or just completely dejected. Either way he won’t be leaving the club with his current performances.

He seemed to be stretching and feeling his groin just after Ratface stamped on his foot in first half. I believe he is carrying an injury so shouldn’t be playing.

I see no point in keeping a player who is unhappy and therefore not motivated to give of his best. True he is top scorer this season, but, it a hasn't been a vintage year for him and a lot of his performances have been very patchy. Possibly a new coach could change things but ultimately I think he is desperate to try his hand elsewhere.

Wilfred is 29 this year. He will not grow out of his behavior at this stage! what "top 6" club is going to want him? likes of hazard / sterling grew out of all the moaning they just get up when fouled and walk away! wilf moans for an extra 5-10 mins! then trys to get them back! i love wilf as much as the next palace fan but.....I am afraid he should have left two seasons ago!
