They have been responsible for the deaths of hundreds of their countrymen by fighting a war they cannot win.

What they care about is HAMAS.

That is no conspiracy theory.

Hammas is not a unified organisation. It's a bunch of factions. It wasn't though what I was addressing in my response. This thread is about US politics and my remarks were directed at the idea that the US media conspired and that there was election fraud. Both are popular conspiracy theories.

What I can say for sure about the last election was that the media conspired to get Biden elected on a massive scale.

News companies simply being politically parisian is not what I'm saying here because that's always happened to some extent in politics.

No, what was unforgiveable was that both they conspired to both censor conservatives from media and then omit and downplay bad news for Democrats. From Hunter Biden to his father's issues in China and Ukraine.

These combined and conspiring interests put party in front of objectivity to such an extent that it qualified as deliberate lying to the American people.

This is an attempt to divert the discussion and avoid answering.

Perhaps you would focus on the actual point being made.

Please don't quote Dawkins at me old man. It's not applicable.

You know that when people wish to hide something they hide the evidence of it or stop others from looking.

Not hard to reason even for you.

I'm not fan of what's happening in the middle east and armed resistance to Israel's expansion has always been inevitable.

However HAMAS literally means 'Islamic Resistance Movement'. They have a charter and act collectively. To say it's not a 'unified organisation' is disingenuous wordplay.

I've answered these points months ago, and wrote extensively on it.

Now apparently I'm avoiding points.

Continuing to use that term post after post only makes you appear less honest.
A conspiracy theory can be either shown to be true or not. The fact that people theorize has no bearing on reality or the validity of a theory.

That's untrue. I have no problem with sincerely held views which are secured in reality.

My issue is with those, like the idea that the last election was "stolen" by election fraud, that are not. When such ideas are bereft of evidence and been comprehensively debunked only conspiracy theorists continue to promulgate them and only the gullible continue to believe them.

I don't think you fit into the latter category by the way. We might disagree politically, but I don't think your views are based on conspiracy theories or propaganda. Others though are.

Thank you. TBF if you look back at my posts on this thread I do not believe I have commented on the actual politics. Mainly I have been playing devils advocate, as I actually have little interest in US Politics.
Hope the move ends up going well and you are keeping well

I bet you didn't even know about it.

How about the far leftist group who actually bombed the capitol building? One of the leaders of which was released by Clinton and is now part of BLM making speeches and collecting cheques.

All facts.

Yeah the Capitol building is Sooooo important to Democrats isn't it.....or perhaps it is only when you choose it to be.

Keep drinking that kool aid.

The 1967 incident you refer to happened in California, and they had the right to enter the California Capitol carrying guns under state law (unlike D.C. law) and journalists followed them to document it. A fact you omitted. They eventually left peacefully after being ordered by police. Although they were eventually arrested on misdemeanor charges which I suggest were trumped up! Forgot to mention that too. This was apparently too much for the GOP and legislation was introduced to strip Californians of their right to openly carry firearms. It became known as the "Panthers Bill" and had the support of the NRA (ouch!). Gov. Ronald Reagan, supposedly a staunch defender of the 2nd. amendment signed the bill into law. You "forgot" to mention that didn't you.
But that's ok, keep living in la la land , you are entitled to your opinion Stirlingsays. As for collecting cheques, Trump is looking for donations, perhaps you could send him one, he's gonna need it to defend himself from the Manhattan DA ! That's a FACT !

What is it with the left and this inability to post correctly?

It's amusing how you write this as if it's some kind of win, when you are literally describing crimes by leftist groups that the left didn't complain about being committed.

So essentially it's been the left's groups invading state buildings in the past. You almost sound like you support it. In fact BLM and Antifa had and have been rioting, causing violence and burning down businesses for about a year and your Democrats had no issues with it....lying to people calling it 'mostly peaceful protest' and refusing to criticise either BLM or Antifa....that was until Biden got in of course....then the criticism actually started.

You also ignored the fact that a leftist terror group bombed the actual state capitol building and other buildings in the seventies and members of that group are even now being rewarded by Democratic supporters.

That's how fake this stuff is.

So my point is the Democrats are utter hypocrites and you're just happy to nod along to their lies and double standards because you're emotionally invested in them.

The point you are avoiding is that in your past contributions on the future direction of US politics you were convinced that the country inevitably faced a succession of Democratic Presidencies and Congresses, as a consequence of changing demographics.

Have you changed your mind? That's the question you have avoided. If not, why the sarcasm when I point out that the only effective way the GOP can respond is to put a distance between themselves and Trump.

If they do, we could well see a new party with him at it's head. If they don't, they will hasten their demise anyway. I think they are between a rock and a hard place, but many seem too close to things to recognise that.

My point is that the only way the GOP has a chance of staying relevant and avoid morphing into a ring wing rump, albeit a large and vocal one, is to stay mainstream. Which means distancing themselves from everything Trump says, does or stands for.

I wish it were only "wordplay" but there are many factions involved, not just on the Palestinian side but in Israel too. Hamas may be the focal point but it isn't the only point. There will have to be just as many internal negotiations on each side as between the countries themselves. Stitching any kind of deal together which has a chance of being honoured by all seems a hopeless task to me, but obviously I hope I am wrong.
