Toady's marvellous victory means that it is highly unlikely that Brighton will finish above us.

A great comeback today and it showed how much the lads were up for it. It was a good front 5 today and so glad to see Tomkins back and Kouyate moved into midfield.

Also hope all the whingers who moaned at Hodgson's choices today, including his substitution decision, enjoy the egg on their face. As another poster wrote. Why change the attackers when the ones on the field were doing a good job?

More of the same on Wednesday, although I suspect Hodgson nay rest a few, including possibly Townsend again who worked his socks off.

Wow! Where did that 2nd half come from? Wilf right back on it and Eze and Tekkers causing mayhem. Really pleased for Tyrick big moment for him. Still massive problems defensively though. Tomkins and Kelly only 2 CBs we should retain, need a young quicker CB and sad as it is Joel needs replacing too. We can play much better attacking football with a solid defensive base behind the forwards

Its amazing how our mood can be changed over the course of 15 minutes.

With us 2-1 down and a quarter of an hour left on the clock I suspect a number of us were sharpening our knives ready for another scathing attack on the team, Ward, Zaha, Cahill, Hodgson, Parish, and anyone else you choose to name.

Come the final whistle, and a 3-2 win, the sun comes out, we are punching the air, and generally feeling chipper and ready to smile at strangers.

Yes, especially as they have the small matter of Citeh on Tuesday!

It also means we have a chance of finishing where we currently are or even higher.

Gotta love Mitchell's effort and focus. I hope he grows stronger and more confident match by match next season because he's so easy to root for.

Good tactics today. As we only have legs for about 65-70 minutes we had the rest period for the first 20 which allowed us to finish strongly. Could have been 5 nil down after that 20 minute period but we got off quite lightly and then started to play a bit.

I am determined to live until I am as old as I look.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

I thought that. Mildly frustrating that, after three years of Benteke being utterly useless, he's suddenly the reincarnation of Alan Shearer with his contract about to expire.

Ha ha , i was thinking the same myself . Is he playing for an extention or putting himself in the shop window though and if given an extention would he revert to the lazy lump of wood he was before .
