I was in Midhurst on Friday getting my second jab.
I would have been filled with excitement had I witnessed a local supporter of advanced years wearing a Palace facemask !!

Pity. Should have let me know, I would have enjoyed meeting. Another time maybe.

Sorry I meant Morrisey, heaven knows I’m miserable now though!!

FFS don't read his autobiography then. I tried once but gave up. Pretentious rambling garbage.

I remember when the whole country would take the day off. Shame it's been devalued so much. I didn't watch it.

My point was the Cup is still important to nearly all supporters if their team is involved.

We'll never win the PL but we have a chance of the Cup. Just hope I live to see it.

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.

My Leicester City supporting friend said to me today that he can now die happy, with him finally having seen his team win the Cup. He said that from a little boy of 7 who watched his team lose the 1969 final, he had always dreamed of winning the FA Cup but never of winning the league. Obviously the Prem win was out of this world for him, and he would never hand that back, but for him the Cup was the Holy Grail, if you'll excuse the analogy.

Of course, with bells on. I guess I'm saying it's not the same as a neutral anymore. Like someone said earlier, used to even watch the coaches go up Wembley Way. If only we'd bloody win something.

Not the best game, but what a goal. Wasn't really up for extra time, so pretty happy about the VAR decision - made even better by watching the Chelsea lot celebrate and then sulk afterwards.

Was just amazing being back watching live football though! Well organised, no faffing about and beer available!

...which might explain your reluctance to hang around for extra time?
