Definitely looking for to Canello v Saunders. I'm trying to decide whether to stay up to watch it, or wake up early. It's one of those!

Predictions for tonight anyone?

Casual/Kenny? What’s everyone going for?

I got up and watched it. Easy to say now, but it went how I expected, Saunders looked decent, but was never going to hurt Alvarez. Thought he done well enough, but would never win no matter how many times they fought.
The score cards seemed to lean towards Canelo though , which shows Saunders couldn’t win on points either.
After all the “I’m prepared to die in the ring” bo**ocks, think he will regret how it finished.

Yes I also got up to watch. Interesting fight. Thought BJS showed he was highly skilled but had trouble hurting Canelo.
Disagreed with the scoring but expected biased judging.

Would like to see BJS v C Smith once Saunders is fit to fight again. As for Alvarez, he’s literally running out of challenges.

Well impressed with DAZN

Yes, DAZN are a professional outfit, no doubt about it. They know how to capture and put on a fight.

I was fairly impressed with Saunders technically, but as has been said, was he ever going to hurt Canello. Don't blame him for calling it quits when he did considering the damage done. A hard fight to come back from, maybe he'll call it a day.

Saunders needs surgery after suffering multiple eye socket fractures.

Sorry Tom I'm a bit late to the party here!! I got up to watch the fight so I'm knackered now!!

It did go pretty much how I thought. I had it 4 rounds a piece after 8 rounds, possibly BJS 1 round up if I've got my bias British head on...

Problem is, BJS is not a hard enough puncher to stop Canelo and no matter how technically good he is Canelo was always going to hunt him down and start unloading big shots which is exactly what happened.

Personally I think pulling him out was spot on.. It was clear that his eye socket was broken and was so bad you could see it had actually sunk into his face.

Fighting Canelo with two eyes open is hard enough. Fighting him with one eye closed is stupid and dangerous. BJS has potentially done some permanent damage anyway. If Mark Tibbs had let him carry on then another round with somebody who hits like Canelo does would of, in my opinion ended BJS career so respect to Tibbs for looking after his fighter.

Ultimately it boiled down to BJS just not being an active enough fighter. He's fought 3 times in 3 years.. Compare that to Canelo who at the age of 30 has already had 50 odd fights.... Within the space of 4//5 months he's wiped out Smith and Saunders with relative ease... The guy just loves to fight.

I hope BJS can continue on but I wouldn't be surprised if he called it a day either. Takes alot to come back from that. Canelo is just on another planet really and I can't see him losing anytime soon.

On the plus side I did have a tenner on Canelo rounds 7-9 so that paid for last nights curry and beers!

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

At long last. Let's hope it actually goes ahead. I can't see the Saudis calling it off, they love a big event.

Looks like Fury/Joshua may be in doubt due to Wilder rematch.

Money talks.

Worst case scenario here is Wilder gets paid to simply step aside.
