So as I have been given a YELLOW i think only correct that I rephrase my post and show some respect to jjeagles unlike his disrespect to a principled man with the utmost integrity...I mean Sir Roy and not myself... Originally posted by westquay

Cannot understand how you can be so rude and disrespectful to a Manager and Coach who has dedicated his life to football and is largely responsible for keeping a mediocre team in the PL for the last four years with little support in terms of team investment. During this time he has earnt and enormous income for the club and has stuck to the task when other may have walked away.Roy will always be fondly remembered as a great and much respected CP manager who saved this clubs PL status over four seasons on a shoestring budget!

huge respect to Roy and ray for what they have done for this club. Stability is often overlooked once people get complacent. Top manager who has done a lot with a little but its time for something new and I look forward to that! I've bemoaned him for being boring at points but can still appreciate him for the not so boring moments! Cheers Roy
