Thanks Roy but this has been a truly awful season. I am not surprised at his team selection and subs today he is a stubborn old man.

1-0 down we could have brought on a striker and a winger nothing to lose.

I suspect the players are as glad to see the back of that season as I am.

The subs were designed to keep the score line respectable with no catastrophes. If you were a player on that pitch wouldn’t you just wish for the final whistle? Negativity yet again. Enjoy your retirement Roy!

Bring back Brolin

I would love to sit down with Roy and understand why, with 10 mins to go and losing 2-0 he thinks that bringing on a centre back and a left back is a good tactical choice. I cannot fathom the logic.

Didn't the centre back replace an injured centre back or do you think that Cahill on his own could cope with the Liverpool attack

Fully disagree.
I must have been Watching a different game clearly.
Love to see the highlights of every occasion they faced up and see how often Salah scored.. oh zero goals.

Mitchell had many blocks on his shots.
Even when Trent was juggling it round him he got back into a great position and shielded the ball competently.

I am more than happy for Mitchell being the LB all next season thanks

Unless we can sign Paolo maldini when he was 20 via some sort of cloning breakthrough!

Agree re Mitchell, At least you and I (and a few others) saw Mitchell doing a decent job against Salah. He will be our LB next season unless someone offers silly money for him. Pundits tend to rate him.

After the total s***e we have had to endure for the last four years, I would stop the team bus at Corley services in Birmingham, and say thanks Roy, but your walking home from here, bye..

Our first 2 seasons under Hodgson were not IMO as you described. He rescued us from the FdB debacle and we had some really good games against bigger clubs.

We had Schlupp replace Tomkins due to injury which required Kouyate to drop back

PvA on for McCarthy to do similar role

AND I suspect he may have put Kelly on so that the Liverpool fans could applaud him as an ex -Pool player. The game was lost at that point, so perhaps a nice gesture from Hodgson

But the ‘Roy Out’ brigade don’t want a realistic assessment. Just let them have their little whine, it’s all academic now.

We are 3rd favourites, the others being Norwich and Watford.

Haven’t included Brentford or Swansea

Are there any videoclips of the Salah diving against Kelly situation at the end?

Funny how commentators make light of it when it is Salah

Even worse, Carragher intimated he should be allowed to dive because he was desperate to catch Kane in the golden boot award. The entitlement of ex Liverpool players/supporters is sickening when you get it continually rammed down your throat. Isn’t tv commentary supposed to be independent?

How can it be when the vast majority are ex-Liverpool/Manure/Citeh/Arsenal etc. players?

I thought we did pretty well against a very good L'pool side whose fast attacking style is very impressive.

We missed CB but Ayew put in his usual hard-working and intelligent shift.

Ward may lack pace, but he's excellent at reading situations - terrific experience.

I'll be sorry to see some of these older players (and Roy) leave Selhurst.
