Andros Townsend is on Talksport this afternoon, and they are talking about Palace now.

A few points :-

1. Andros said the club want him to stay but it's upto the new manager. However, he said that he has offer from a club who are in the group stage of the champions league.

2.He was talking about cup runs, and the game against Watford in the QF. But without Wilf, we lacked attacking quality in the game.

3. Eze - it was 10mins before the session ends, and it was only a light session. He simply just turned and there was a pop. Also, there were rumours he was going to be in the England provisional squad.

He said of Blur & Oasis : "Before my time."

I read elsewhere him saying the foreign club is in Turkey. Personally, given his age, the fact he has a young family and his increasing amount of punditry work I don't think he'll want to leave the UK unless either us or another PL club fails to make him an offer. I certainly think he's still a capable squad player and works hard for the team and I hope he stays.

That was Fergusons point to Beckham. Not sure he was proved right or wrong in the end given the success both went on to have after parting ways.

There is always an element of concern whenever a player diversifies, and whilst I'm sure it can result in less focus on the day job it could also have the opposite effect. If you've had plenty to say in the media about this, that and the other then there will be a long line of people waiting to remind you that your form is s***, which I'm sure he'd like to avoid. Plus I'd think the media are more keen on seeking the views of a well regarded top-flight player rather that one who's making an arse of himself every week on the pitch, so perhaps he'll be extra motivated by the sudden increase in attention.

Agree. THAT goal he scored at Man City. Nobody else in the team has the technical ability to do that.

Yep, and it's usually his opinion on something that's happening at Spurs.
In fact it appears that he can't stop talking about them and has a real soft spot for them.
Really irritating.
