That's my opinion of Civil Servants however it is an opinion not a fact, I could be wrong.

Bed utilisation has risen recently and therefore more recent Governments should by now have taken action. Especially in provision for the elderly.

If you have ever tried taking an elderly person with dementia to hospital with e.g. a broken hip you will have first hand experience of how policy and investment did not adjust post implementation of 'care in the community'. Hospitals simply have no way to cope.

I didn't know about the utilisation to be fair but given I have a Parent with Dementia and a relative with mental health issues my opinion of the healthcare system is in the gutter! Blair & Co cut more beds than anyone but they have all done it year after year wherever possible and it is a disgrace. They all shout NHS from the rooftops whilst they slowly destroy it. Top heavy admin doesn't help matters either. Bloody shame!

I didn't know about the utilisation to be fair but given I have a Parent with Dementia and a relative with mental health issues my opinion of the healthcare system is in the gutter!
Blair & Co cut more beds than anyone but they have all done it year after year wherever possible and it is a disgrace.
They all shout NHS from the rooftops whilst they slowly destroy it.
Top heavy admin doesn't help matters either.
