Releasing Ward and Townsend- big, big mistake.

Personally, I wouldn't offer Clyne a new contract.
We signed him after he had not played at all the previous season.
He has been out injured, his last game for us being in February.
He is now 30 years of age.

The official list does at least put to bed the daft lists widely available in the media for the last year, many of which included Schlupp, Kelly and McArthur. Plainly all three will be with us next year.

I think ward will get a new deal. Townsend if he wants one. Ward says he wants. Townsend (who cannot shut up) can't decide and apparently has offers (agent leverage?)

Thus one likely to stay the other possibly out of our hands???

Sako, , was a quality player but somewhere along the line has lost the will to perform , injuries maybe? So he to could come off the wage bill. The deterioration speeds up in over thirties, keeping any of them will not buy improvement.
