I'm staying on target. This is all about following correct procedures for hiring of personnel, and procedures for awarding Covid contracts. Also (potentially) using personal email addresses for Government business, expense claims for trips and how family/friends got financial benefit from Hancock's decision-making. And IF Hancock did anything, you can bet he won't be the only one implicated. This is a slow burner, and I bet a few members of Government are having squeaky-bum moments.

Not everyone being able to be there is s***, as is the lack of funeral. Your world may stop spinning, the whole world doesn’t. I’ve also seen first hand how much PPE was used so I couldn’t give a fig if someone made money out of it. That’s for someone and their conscience. Personally I think they did well getting as much as they did. Death happens, there isn’t always someone to blame and it’s a part of life. 80 years ago we fought the Germans et al, and but for the grace of god there hasn’t been a war for two generations. Sooner or later we all have to eat a piece of s***, Covid could have been a lot , lot worse.

What's more have done so purely to sideswipe a political enemy or to make money - most likely both - with no thought to the repercussions or turmoil for the people affected.

This isn't about Hancock's marriage trouble. That is entirely of his own making. This is about political accountability and due process. Both you would hope were in abundance during giving of contracts and employment of staff.

I was going to say is it only restricted to the Tory Party until I looked at some of the other party candidates and realised an affair is an unlikely occurrence.

To be a leader in a crisis you need experience of crises, good judgement, speed of responsiveness and the ability to take others with you on the journey I have learned this from responding (not just reacting) to crises. Hancock had none of the requisite skills Was it his fault? Well I guess he put himself forward. Was it BoJo’s fault? Well he put someone he considered fing hopeless into the role and took absolutely no action as that became clear.
