I remain really disappointed by Sakho, who I truly thought would be a Palace 'great' but actually ended up being a colossal waste of money (in fee plus wages). PVA remains an enigma - "good enough" for the Netherlands and (apparently) for Arsenal yet surplus to our requirements.

I am very pleased we’ve got rid of some dead wood (Dann you’re a hero). But how on earth did we get to such a position? And how do we avoid it happening again?

Much as I respect Parish for saving the club, it’s a terrible indictment on his strategic insight to have so much recruiting to do at once. It’s not like we’ve just been promoted…

It was will take a new far more clinical approach of squad management to avoid another similar problem in 4 years time. It’s the same low levels of professionalism we see in our interactions with the club on the HOL bullying people out of their seats and trying to buy tickets, use the website etc.

Let’s hope we can get PV over the line and move the club forward- he’s worked at well run clubs

If we do resign Andros any chance SP can put a clause in his contract to stop him talking s***e on Talk s***e?

We don't have depth or quality to sustain this - notwithstanding the Nuno and Lucien Favre sideshows, we should have sorted a squad out by now.
