It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

But he isn't third choice keeper here as he was released so he has actually gone from unemployed to third choice keeper at another club

Good luck to him, not valued by our fans.

still gets paid by Palace until 31st July BTW.

How do you work that one out, seeing as ALL contracts finish on 30th June?

Premier League rules are that payments continue for one extra month for those out of contract.

Probably to counter the very disorganisation that we have now where players don't know whether they have a job or not

Quite right too ... it's a shambolic outcome to their tenures at Palace and nobody deserves that.

Chelsea have a history of employing experienced keepers, much in the vain of Wayne Hennesey: they have in recent years employed the services of Willy Caballero and Rob Green, as examples.

No issues with this good luck in finding such a club.
His time was done at Palace.

Good luck to him, always tried his best it seemed.

There was also Eduardo, in his mid-30s signed by Conte and Schwarzer in his 40s when signed by Mourinho.
