I am totally in agreement.

The 20mill price tag seems to be standard more or less for for virtually every discard from the big six.
Nketiah, has not done anywhere near enough to warrant that sort of money, Not at all sure we actually want him, in particular at that price.
But he does represent the influence the big outfits can place on the financial pressures there are for the also rans.

Agreed. Look at Brewster to Sheff U for a classic example.

Sheff Utd signed Brewster for £23.5 Mill + 15% sell-on.
Featured in 27 PL games for them last season, 15 from the bench, and never scored a solitary goal.

Even though Benteke has signed a new contract doesn't mean Viera likes him, he could be loaned out or sold, Willock and Nketiah, straight swop for Wilf, i would

If our interest in Nketiah is genuine then you may well be right because with Benteke, Mateta and Ayew do we really need a 4th?

Only PV will know whether he is the sort of player that he wants. For me, £20m means excellent player. I’m not sure Nketiah is in that camp just yet.

Ayew had a good season two years ago and showed nothing last season .
Mateta is unproven and still a work in progress .
Benteke proven prem player and goal scorer .
Of the above if we let anyone go on loan so we can fit Nketiah in for me it would be Ayew .

Not a priority position at present. Once we've sorted defence and midfield and in the unlikely event we have any funds left, then perhaps we could go for him.

Agreed, One player I would love to see at Palace would Kurt Zouma, not sure how much he would cost, paper reports suggest Chelsea are willing to let him go. Not sure how true that is but it would certainly make a statement IMO I would expect wages could be a massive problem,

If we get Nketiah and Dolberg, Benteke Hopefully for me will be on his bike, Carthorse, no movement, no anticipation, i know he is your god, Mr Benkeke snr

lol this is hilarious. Benteke is so much more worth having than these two it’s not even funny.
