Only a matter of time until Selhurst is renamed.

I hope not though.

We will never be "The burger-king selhurst park" in the mind of any self respecting eagle.

York's Bootham Crescent became the 'KitKat' stadium and their Board of Directors used to give boxes of KitKat's to visiting directors.

If it ever does get renamed I bloody hope we never stoop so low as the 'Select Car Leasing Stadium'!
what on earth does that say about Readings locality, heritage and history?
I suppose the only saving grace is that it's not a frigging betting company!!!

Is Newcastle still the 'Sports Direct Stadium'?

Get the council to chip in.
Brick by brick @ selhurst Park has a nice ring to it.
Think of the money we would save on grass cutting and emptying the bins.
Proper home advantage.
Could sell the training ground too as any open space in the Borough would replicat the playing surface.

I'll never support this idea.

in reality it make no difference…if durex offered us £2m to sponsor the stadium it would still be selhurst to me & every other palace fan.

we could do with the money thats for sure.

Kinda agree. Selhurst would still be it's name.
I think it works if you have a new bespoke built stadium with no history.

sorry, that name has already been taken at Brighton.

we could be the Morley's Fried Chicken stadium. Just to reflect the culture in South London. Or maybe Tennesee Fried Chicken.

not KFC, not posh enough for the franchise.
