I could honestly list examples of why the CCP will invade Taiwan and be here all night doing it, plus this thread really isnt the place for that however one example is they are retrofitting their fleet of cargo ships into helicopter carrier/troop transports and actively training for beach landings, have a google of the cargo ship zhen hua 28, they have actually stolen the idea off the US who stole the idea off us as Britain did something similar in the Falklands but its a cheap and effective way of moving huge numbers of troops from China into Taiwan quickly.

China does not currently have enough assault ships to breach Taiwanese defences effectively do they are working on this by building a load of Type 75 assault ships that also act as carriers, you can learn more about the T75 here [Link]

We had a multinational flotilla of warships off the coast of Taiwan just the other day sending a clear message to the CCP that they wont take the island easily, the CCP responded by saying they have stocks of carrier sinking missiles aimed at the US led fleet

The last part sabre rattling no doubt however you cant ignore the fact they are actively equipping and training for an invasion, you can choose to take this seriously or not, the ccp are.

And never, ever, think Johnson is not a ruthless b******. He is and the current 'chaos' is probably a lot more manufactured by him than people realise. When you are playing the game at that level, almost nothing happens without it being thought out several moves ahead, especially when it comes to how you deal with those closest to you and creating mayhem is an age-old tactic by way of ensuring that those around you who might wield the old 'et-tu' blade are never allowed to get their feet truly comfortable under tables.

I don't doubt his ruthlessness for a moment. At the top of the political tree I think it's almost built in as a quality. Even if he no longer wanted to be PM I could well see him using various levers of power to take out anyone else who wanted the job, unless or until there is something personally in it for him.

If Starmer doesn’t oppose or backs Johnson on vaccine passports then he could lose many ethnic minority votes, especially black voters. But in those constituencies it may not matter on election days.

Starmers problem is the membership of the Labour party. They LOVE vaccine passports. Adore them. If you could somehow combine wearing a mask with taking the knee, then I suspect many of them would explode in sheer virtue signalling over-load.

Ditto with institutions like the BBC or all this trans-lunacy.

If Johnson thinks he is in trouble as he approaches the next GE then all he needs to do is announce a promise to hold a referendum on defunding the BBC and its game over. Labour will have to oppose such a move, by dint of what its members will demand and will happily die on that hill because they just enjoy the buzz.

Ditto with all this self-identifying Trans BS. Open goals for the Conservatives that they might not even need to play but which effectively guarantee them a working majority next time around should they be required.

Labour are simply not fit for purpose. They will continue to be the official opposition because they will stack votes up in urban seats but other than that, nah.

Going to require a significant game-changer for Labour to stand anychance and if Covid ain't doing it, then I simply do not know what will.

Good point well made, " I was not at the funeral " type trustworthy Corbyn.

I think it shows the point that we need to stop any more movement towards presidential style politics but the power of media will make that impossible I fear.

Why are ethnic minority and black communities especially opposed to " vaccine passports ".

Am just thinking that France has just introduced their own " vaccine passport " which is required for many many normal activities and there is no indication the black and ethnic minority communities in France are more opposed than any other section of society.
