and the Athletic pundits have us finishing 14th. Even the Beeb's McNulty thinks we'll stay up.

I get worried when they don't predict relegation for us!

Watford, Burnley and Norwich.

Enjoying getting up later and not having someone who knows better than me (apart from the missus of course).

18: The Weed
19: The Seagulls
20: BHA

Although I'd be happy with any order of the above.

One team I want to see go down is Newcastle ... they have flirted with relegation for so long, it must be there turn to go down ... and also I hate the spud-faced chancer Steve Bruce (*spit*)

So its:
Newcastle
Brighton (*spit*)
Watford

Why?

What took me by surprise was that 4 out of the 6 journalists had us for the drop.

I understood the rationale of each, however it seemed when reading through the article the feeling was we would go down.

Oh no Willo! Now you're thinking we'll avoid relegation not just McNulty and Co. We're clearly doomed now!

1. If Watford are as bad as they were the other day they are surely going straight back down.

2. Norwich sold their best player from last season and Pukki is not getting any younger (and recently had COVID). I can't see where the significant improvements are from last time they were up?

3. Burnley still haven't strengthened significantly despite new owners. Unless they bring some decent players in within the next couple of weeks it will be a tough ask of Dyche to keep them up again. A couple of injuries to key players and they are in trouble. Having said that, when their backs are to the wall they have tremendous grit and determination and some man mountains like Wood.

I have a feeling that we will start the season badly for the first 10 games as we settle the squad down.
Im predicting a safe lower half finish with lots of praise on the way we play for a change.
A couple of the big sides with pick up MASSIVE wins against us because we are playing brave football. It might even be the opening game, I still dont think there will be any reason to panic though

I think there's more in contention that usual this year.

Newcastle, Southampton, Wolves, Burnley, Brighton, Palace, Brentford, Norwich, Watford could all easily drop in my view.

The three promoted and Burnley would be my current favourites of that group.

I agree with this. Certainly at this stage, with the transfer window still open there are about half the teams in he league that are likely to be in the relegation mix and about half that are quite unlikely. Perm any 3 from 10 and any guess is as good as any other for me.
