The media is the mouthpiece of the elites and has been for decades.

They are responsible for many of our problems yet get to hide and avoid exposure and criticism because they hold the megaphone and get to 'memory hole' what they want.

Yet their long term decisions are behind why everyone else suffers.

Look on the bright side…now there is a place where those that want to live under strict Islamic law, can now go and live their lives. I expect to see large numbers of such people leave Europe and reside there…and Palace might win the league!

hats off to palace, they were always gonna be louder, and hate to say it but they were impressive ALL bouncing and singing.

Indeed, major headlines this morning include the defacing of a Banksy in Lowestoft, some sports coverage and some stuff about more shootings in Camden and research into "incels" which is just a media-fabricated group.

Internet media generally now saying that Taliban are waiting outside Kabul whilst negotiations complete over a peaceful transfer of power.
the media have no doubt assisted the advancement of the current situation, where hopefully more deaths and violence can be minimised.

Afghanistan's future now lies in drug production in order to facilitate purchases of arms, and to boost the economy.

Pretty much.

There are more well heeled enemies of the west within the west itself....some carrying its own genetics than there will ever be sitting in a cave in Afghanistan drinking goat's urine.

Yep, the modern media are rotten down to their foundation.

I can think of only a few independent journalists whose words I trust are genuinely actually independent and honest.

It's all eerily like the fall of Saigon.

There needs to be accountability.

The incompetence is mind blowing.

Now the Taliban have all the equipment the US army gave to the Afghan army......a proper army's worth of equipment that's now in the hands of people who are actually willing to fight.

This withdrawn has been handled so stupidly.

We need accountability.

It's almost as if this was deliberately engineered so that Islamic extremism can actually be fully equipped with a whole host of Western goodies that can then be used to bring terror and mayhem to the very tax-payers who funded it all.

But that would just be paranoid thinking. Because of course, there must be a far more rational explanation for what is unfolding.

Credit to the tory defence minister, he did try to get a coalition up without Biden.

No doubt they were all useless.

If they all get smashed I will make a cuppa and keep on watching the telly as though nothing had happened.

the best education has given our leaders the intellectual capacity to make these decisions for the better good of the world population.

I'd like to know how many current/ex-US/UK politicians have links to arms companies.
