LMFAO

Guidance from you, now that is amusing without you even trying

Why don't you try reading the comments and ignoring who wrote them! You might just find something either amusing, or even illuminating. Prejudice is never instructive.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

I have simply accepted WE is an all knowing and wise higher form of life.

Probably the Stirling genes.

Thanks for confirming my point.

The wise man finds useful information in the strangest of places and from sources he might otherwise despise.

The prejudiced don't.

It's not worth bothering with the clan of close minded anglophiles on here who understand nothing about other cultures even though they may live abroad. These are the types who will live their lives in a totally 'expat' environment, never mixing or communicating with
the locals. Seen it and experienced if in many countries I've lived in. These are the people who want to live in 'Britain' abroad. They'll be the same ones who are desperate to get 'UK' tv and be desperate to buy overpriced UK products instead of supporting their local communities in the countries they live in.

Not sure I'd go to these extremes, but it of note that whether through being on benefits or retired, people do become somewhat detached from society. An 'opt out'. There is no longer a need to 'rub along', or real world interactions that push back against contrived one dimensional takes. And there's certainly a disproportionate number of people who match that criteria around here, of multiple political persuasions.

And of course the trouble with being overly political in the first place is that it's boring. Many of the deep human truths of life are apolitical and don't exist within these forced safe space type tribal categorisations. Thoughts need not be relentlessly funneled through a prism of 'does this fit with what my group would say'. Or rather it can, but again is boring and ultimately turns people into empty vessels conveying nothing or close to it. In the 'real world' the best and most meaningful interactions with people are almost always with those who aren't obsessively partisan or political.
