The Hungarian government has started asking the question in its official unofficial newspaper if Hungary should leave the European Union, I quote from the Article.

"The time has come, now in July 2021, to seriously consider the possibility of our withdrawal from a union of states with a thousand bleeding wounds, showing imperial symptoms, and treating the eastern and central European countries incredibly arrogantly." The reason given: "Our paths have diverged as the West now consciously ( … ) breaks from Christian morality and values. Instead, they aim to build a cosmopolitan, faceless world society based on the unbridled self-enjoyment and self-destruction of the individual ( … ). [By contrast,] we Hungarians, Poles and central and eastern European people hold on to our cultural and religious foundations."

Life & culture out here is genuinely great & despite being nowhere near as wealthy as people in the West People are happy.
I look at the quote above and I find it difficult to argue against it.

Hungary leaving the EU isnt such rash idea either you have the Visegrad group and the three seas initiative so they actually seem pretty well placed to make a go of it alone and I suspect Poland may follow.

Yes, really

""Nevertheless it should be pointed out that the vast majority of Hungarians have, in principle, a very firm pro-European attitude," Kreko said. "Even a decade of ever-increasing EU skepticism and increasingly vulgar anti-EU propaganda issued by the Orban government has not been able to change that."

Given that parliamentary elections are scheduled next spring, it could, therefore, "be a tactical error to exaggerate anti-EU propaganda," said Kreko, as this could drive undecided voters with a pro-European attitude into the arms of the opposition."

Orban is simply running out of ideas to keep his support, he's desperate and knows he's isolated hi self, not just from the EU but also increasingly from the electorate. As each year passes, less of the anti-EU older generation exist. The younger generations are very pro EU and are creating ever more voting citizens as each year passes. Orban will be gone in the next elections, attitudes like his are becoming more and more stale as each year passes.

Interesting, Brexit was a grass roots movement that was forced by the voters on an unwilling elite.

It sounds like the opposite is happening in Hungry.

It's amazing how so many people live in an alternative reality to the real world.

Brexit wasn't forced by the voters on anyone. It just scraped over the line via a contaminated process in which the voters were used by the unscrupulous, aided and abetted by the miscalculations of Cameron, the fears of Central Office and the fecklessness of Corbyn.

The consequences of which are now coming into plain sight with steeply rising prices and empty shelves.

Hopefully the people of Hungary will have more sense. Dumping Orban in the process to become a modern progressive state would be a bonus.

You completely missed the point I was making:

Brexit came from the bottom the UK government opposed it whereas it looks like Huxit is being proposed by the Orban government.

As for the rest not worth commenting on.

Correct but don't expect any of the brainwashed or those who fight any form of progressive change to ever believe that. They are best ignored and left to isolate themselves even further.

Hungary is one of the hopes for Europeans as it rejects the worse aspects of globalism....which in Europe is represented and pushed by the EU.

They want its money but they don't want its rules and immigration, which will slowly gut its culture, rise crime and lower social cohesion and introduce and give power to the 'progressives' with its anti whites.

Orban has done some great things in Hungary with the birth rate and challenging the EU's ideas regarding interference in its affairs.

Ultimately he has to do what is necessary if Hungary isn't going to fall to the western globalism that will arrest its citizens for speaking their minds, put men in dresses in famale toilets/prisons and attempt to reassign children's sex with drugs and operations.
