Read even the first couple of pages of the GDPR EU regulations and you will, as anybody would, see just how unworkable the regulations are. There are so many problems with it that I wouldn't even be able to summarise here. Look at them yourself and tell me the regulations are worthwhile. They're just more petty bureaucracy designed to give power to the EU but make everyone jump through hoops or be scared of non compliance. With totally astronomical fines for the slightest breaches. No one's following the regulations, however, as it's literally impossible.

Well look, the Euro is alive and healthy and so is in fact the EU. The subject matter is in the future so cannot be a fact. That's why it's called an opinion. I have not ever opined the Euro would cease to exist As a currency it cannot be alive or healthy but I get the general point you are clumsily making.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

I recently attended a presentation where one of the key points was a trend of physically locating servers in jurisdictions with minimal resources to investigate breaches, Gibraltar or Malta being current favoured locations. Originally posted by ASCPFC

Good article from M&S boss about the paperwork nonsense. I hadn't realised that we were giving the EU a free ride on import controls well, that ends in October, so either they start to negotiate sensibly about red tape or they and especially Eire will start to experience problems. Rubber glue back at you.

Brexit is the best political event to happen in my lifetime. How is that for 'gone quiet'? I have a fridge full of fruit and veg....I really don't know what you are on about.

It's a perfect storm EU has a problem as well. Brexit isn't helping due to EU intransigence over border controls but COVID is probably more of a factor. There seems to be a realignment in the industry and drivers are now getting better pay and conditions so hopefully this is just a temporary blip.
