I think the chant sounds great. I've never heard that song used before, and it's really effective.

On the other hand...I'm not sure that I would really 'want to be Edouard', neither do I think 'he's already in me'. So as much as I like how it sounds, I'm not sure the words to it quite work.

Not only that, but the 'd' on the end of his name seems to be silent in French, as it is with names like 'Giroud'.

It would probably be better to come up with a song of our own anyway, and I wish I could think of something more original. I wanna, I wanna, I wanna but I can't.

'We love you' made it to Palace via Celtic so it's not like we don't have form for singing the same songs as other clubs.

I'm all for original chants but when there is a tailor made one available why change it?

i do chuckle at our fans sometimes. i get it - i would love to come up with a chant as good as - your wingers dont like him. for all of our players but you know what? it doesn't always roll like that. and when you do - they can still leave you!
