Thanks for the laugh. I am perfectly capable of seeing the big picture. Having travelled widely and lived a long time has given me the experiences to be able to reach informed conclusions, rather than the limited ones based on a life spent in a restricted, parochial environment. Which I strongly suspect applies to you.

It's also funny that a man who has supposedly travelled the world chooses to end up in very parochial Cornwall.

Since none of the protagonists in this extended debate about the merits or demerits of life in Cornwall, or indeed life in Cornwall itself have actually made the headlines on GB News, can we stick to the topic please?

As we have to return to the thread topic, it will be left to people's imaginations as to why you chose to live in Cornwall.
I'm sure it was for the nice scenic views, cliffside walks, cream teas, locally brewed beer and nothing to do with the low population and relative absence of immigrants.

I wonder what is happening on GB News.....

Everyone has to get something right sometimes. Even idiots. You got the reasons spot on. Add to them the friendly, non-judgemental, welcoming people and the relatively low cost of housing, and that sums it up.

What's happening on GB News? I wouldn't know. Maybe they could run a few good news stories based on Cornwall. Everyone else has. Having tried GB News, I have returned to less biased outlets, like the BBC, ITV and Channel Four.
