‘’Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah’’ or ‘’Yeah yeah yeah’’

Has anyone noticed the new way some people agree with what you’ve just said? Instead of just one ‘yes’ or ‘yeah’, you get either 3 or 5. Yes (or yeah yeah yeah), I’ve counted it’s 3 or 5. I haven’t yet concluded why it’s sometimes 3 and sometimes 5 so research continues. The people who do this are likely to ‘basically’ and all the others.
