The french are getting revenge for all the wars we beat them in! They don't like us and could not care less if the boat people make it across or not. That is why they let us into their waters to rescue people.

Personally I would take them all straight to Lydd airport and ship them back to wherever they came from.

I am enjoying being back at Selhurst and having a beer with my mates just like we have done for the past 40 years. Through Thick and thin we stick with our club. Not chairman, players or managers, OUR CLUB!

when you import the Third World, you become the Third World.

In the last 50 years, how are the UK statistics for :

- acid attacks
- shanty towns

- gang violence
- honour killings

- the performance of the health service
- religious fundamentalism & associated criminality

- family breakdown & kids growing up without a dad
- overcrowded housing

etc etc

what are the statistics ?

The UK should write a how not to do it book, how to go from possibly the best country in the world to a S***hole in 60 years

You're so right PV. Not too bad down here in Sussex, but even dear old Croydon has changed out of all recognition in the last 50 years.

Just realised your abbreviated tag makes it seem like I'm addressing the manager!

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

They can, they just have little interest in doing so.

We seem to be blaming the French (yes, I know it’s a national sport), but some far flung EU border has allowed the illegal immigrants into Europe in the first place. It is therefore an EU problem. Perhaps the UK should retain some of the EU divorce bill monies until they sort out the problem.

hats off to palace, they were always gonna be louder, and hate to say it but they were impressive ALL bouncing and singing.

Unfortunately we cannot patrol the whole coastline though

We literally can, we sell 2 missiles, we fund heavy patrols for the border. It honestly is that simple...

France in the 1960s & 70s is unrecognisable.

When compared to the dump it has become recently.

It"s just good business Spider, take our money and turn the other cheek, letting thousands of unwanted guests slip away in to the night, you can"t blame them ! So are the Russians.
So are the Albanians.

To be fair it don"t look to bad in "a place in the sun", some of those chateaus are stunning, you don"t get that quality over here, except the odd castle!
