The vast majority in zones 1 and 2, and increasing by the day in zones 3-6.

Most new developments in zones 1 and 2 are only advertised in Asia.

But how many?

I'd wager there are more overseas investors who own property in the UK than there are immigrants who own.

Partly? What are the net increases in population due to migration and what are the new home building figures? I’m curious as to where on the list immigration comes as a factor.

House prices 9 times salary in London is mental.

How much is due to people living longer, and divorce?

An argument might creep in for the right to die rather than having to sell all your assets to live like a vegetable.

Without imigrants, their won't be any carers to do the work.

Or just look at all the massive signs around Battersea Powerstation. Especially along the train line. Thousands of commuters see them every day.

Bloody Imigrants, getting educated abroad at someone else's expense, then coming here, paying taxes, before f***ing back of f overseas to retire where its cheaper and they don't cause a tax burden.

The cheek of it.

Perhaps we could export our old people to warmer climates where houses and labour are cheap?

Still, it's almost a relief that politicians are no longer talking about either Brexit or Covid.

Bet you thought the 'Best Exotic Marigold Hotel' was just fiction......

Personally, when I get past it, I'm planning on committing a serious enough crime that I get put away for life (or what's left of it) - three meals a day, laundry done, heat & light paid for, medical care on site. The company may not be the best, but hey, beggars and all that...

A lot of developers don't sell on Rightmove, mostly agents.

Battersea Power Station is a perfect example to prove my point; the land is owned and developed by an Asian consortium, nearly all of the purchases were Asian investors, and even the on-site estate agent are run by a Chinese bloke to help communication with the owners.

They held launch events in;

Kuala Lumpur, New York, Dubai, Paris, Los Angeles, Milan, Tokyo, Beijing, Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Doha.

Plenty of drugs too. I'd put it on around the same level as some care homes I've seen. Not all, of course.

Even if that were true, you could counter that with immigration is creating demand for rental accommodation and keeping properties off the market to buy.

Yes good points. Also women who want to stay single meaning they and a male not paired up occupying 2 properties.

Some might talk about right to die but not see it through.

Of course immigration is a factor, there are just many others as well.

More limitations on the volume of properties than can be bought from overseas would have far more impact on house prices than any immigration policy, but the government have no interest in house prices dropping.

Current net migration is running between 250 to 300k a year. So that is as many as 1.2million every 4 years.

Just think about that for a minute.
